Does anyone know how to tackle excessive sweating? I am always sweating especially my head, face, check and back. :eek:mg: I cant tolerate it Witsend.
Feels so sticky sticky and dirty. Even if I keep bathing, I sweat the minute I step out of the bathroom. My hair is always wet, I have cut it short, next is to go for boy cut only ;-)
It so nice in the office under AC, but at home, cleaning and cooking in the kitchen is crazy!! :crazy

Ironically my palm and my foot is always dry. :confused2:
    Can someone please help me?
    Thanks

    Dear Teju,

Body Odor is usually related to Sweat but the unpleasant odor is mainly due to bacteria present in the sweat.

Body Odor is due to many reasons:
    • Poor Hygiene
    • Strong Medicines
    • Diabetes
    • Alcoholism
    • Smoking
    • Zinc Deficiency
    • Toxins
    • Kidney Disease
    • Fungal Infection
    • Liver Disease

    Remedies for Sweat
    • Use antibacterial soap or deodorant soap
    • Wear cotton clothes during summer so that the sweat is soaked up
    • Instead of using deodorant, wipe your sweat producing areas like armpit using white vinegar or alcohol.
    • Avoid using antiperspirant because they clog sweat glands, use alum instead.
    • Apply some baking soda on arm pit, it will absorb sweat and kill bacteria.
    • Do not repeat unwashed clothes
    • Wax Your Armpits regularly

Remedies for Body Odor caused by Medicines
    • Soak yourself for 15 minutes in bath water with couple of cups of tomato juice in it.
    • Use baby powder to keep areas of heavy perspiration dry.
    • Apple cider vinegar can be used to combat under arm odor.

Also consult your doctor about the problem.

    Diet for Body odor:
Diet is also a major factor is creating body odor. Avoid certain food and stay healthy and hearty.
    Things that one should avoid:
    • Refined sugar, white flour, hydrogenated oils and other processed foods.
    • Red meat because it releases many toxins into the blood stream.
    • Foods that lack fiber.
    • Alcohol, caffeine, cumin and garlic.

    Eat Healthy Food like:
    • Whole grains, lots of leafy vegetables, sprouts, fresh fruits, soy products, raw nuts.

Hope these are useful ... Regards, Suni ... :)
