In Vadivudai amman temple ( thiruvottiyur ) theres a sannidhi i forgot the name of the sannidhi .If u place a thread from the dress u r wearing , its a belief that u will get a lot of new dresses.

in some part of India -- it is not good to give anything in three no but in some part they say not to give four ----dilemma what to follow

My MIL says that one should not drink water and leave house immediately. And I always have the habit of drinking water just before leaving from the house :tongue so she gives me some Saunff or Sugar to eat :mrgreen:
But I have no idea why it is not good to leave house right after drinking water!!!

 

A very common one is that you eat a spoonful of Curd with sugar before going for any important work. Things go well :idontgetit:
