Summer Holidays

Dear Friends,

Recently i started worrying about the way my son spends his holidays. He is into his 5 th Grade. and for his summer holidays has sent him to his grand parents place. The only entertainment when he goes there is playing games in the tab or computer or watching tv and occasionally reading books.

When he is with me i never allow him to play or watch above certain limits. I make him to read newspapers, books or engage in some physical activities. But whenever he is away, he indulges only with electronic gadgets and there is no company for him as well who can make him do other things.

Now i am worried. Even though i control his activities all through the year, during summer he is fully into this for the whole day. please help me if this is going to affect my son in any way. I know this kind of activities make the children less interested in studies, their attention span decreases, they get glued in one place.

Should i be worried abt this? please share your views and suggestions
