Suggestions for places to live in Dallas

    Hi All,
    I am single female. I am moving to Dallas next week and my office is located near C F Hawn Free Way.

    I heard that the area near to my office is not a good place to take an apartment to live.Can anyone please suggest good places which are near to my office location? I drive, but I am not that comfortable driving long distance everyday and so thought to ask your help in choosing some good place near by.

    If you feel the area around my office(5 to 6 mile radius) is not good to live, please suggest any good places.
