    2. I read many success stories in this forum. Now I want to how much they are successful in balancing their work and
    life(i.e,timings, work pressure...)?
    3. How you are taking care of you and your family health?
    4. Will it possible for me to goto testing or SAP.Do I need to go for any courses?
I'm confused and worrying about it a lot.Hope I will get good responses.

    Hi,
From your post, it is clear you are serious about getting back and are thinking quite a few options. That's not easy so you've made a successful first step!

As far as what you should do, quite honestly, no one can suggest that. I've myself come back after 2 breaks in my career. I like to believe luck favored me both times, but for you to approach it systematically, I would suggest:

    1. Browse popular job sites such as CareerBuilder.com, monster.com, dice.com, hotjobs etc to see what is in demand particularly in your geographic location.

    2. You already have an IT background with some skills. Given that spend time thinking about where you are very good at or are interested in, i.e. which technology or area (Database, web development, CRMs, Testing) etc that you want to develop.

    3. Accordingly look for certifications that can help you acquire the skills. The technology area is too wide and it is confusing to sit and pick one or two to get certifications.

Hope this helps you. All the best!

    Hi Krithi,

Start job hunting now. Try if you can get back to job without any certifications.
3 years experience in J2EE is good enough to find a job.
Prepare convincing answers for questions about career break.
Brush up J2EE skills. I am sure you can be back on track.
Don't think of jumping to Testing, beacuse of this career braek, unless there is
a real reason for it, like you like testing more than development.
You can try for a job for next 3-4 months and then reconsider about testing or doing certification etc.

    Hi Krithi,

    My 2 cents

    1. Having 3yrs of J2ee exp is quite good enough to get a job again.Go thru the FAQs and concepts which have included in your CV.

2.Prepare the appropriate and convincing answers for your break.

All the best for your job hunt.
