Hi Ilites, What type of books do you suggest for a 4th grader to work at home? I'm planning to get some books for my son to practice at home, since he has more time in the evening. But I don't know what to buy. Please suggest me some books for my 4th grader. It'll be of great help.Thanks.
What do you want him to practice. For a fourth grader, i would look at puzzles, simple logical reasoning and lots of general books age relevant along with literature..fictions...again age appropriate..
Maths olympiad books, and worksheets from web. Right now my son doing these. Plenty of logical reasoning books too.
dear friend, if you buy again study materials he may be bored further.try to introduce him good story books in english.you can start with tenali rama, beerbal & akbar, stories from epic.by reading these books, his moral values will be boosted as well his english vacabulary.i've started these for my dds even before and my younger one who is in fifth grade now reads novels like nancy drew.she has completed all the series of harry potter.while writing essays her english is found good by her teacher
