I will be moving to NewYork with family next week. Need to find an apartment soon. My husband's office will be in Manhattan. Please let me know the preferred areas, average rent and names of apartments where you are staying. If you can give me website links of genuine apartments that will be a welcome too.

My daughter is in Grade 2 hence good public school nearby will be helpful.

Can I get decent 2 bed room flats for rent in the range of 1000-1500$ ?

Heard cost of living is high in New York.
