Hi, Apart from commercial cinema, lets discuss about some meaningful Indian as well as World Cinema here.Suggest the movies that inspired you or you adored a lot. How many of you have seen Korean movies here?? Thanks Kalpana
Well...I haven't seen any Korean movies. Sorry. One of the movies which inspired me a lot - "Life is Beautiful", an Italian Movie starred and directed by Robert Benigni. It has won Oscars too. What a wonderful heartwarming story set in a backdrop of Nazi Era. Its a tear-jerker but woven with a sense of humor, the only movie which does this so beautifully. I loved this movie a lot. I am sure there are more movies, shall come back later and write here but as of now this is the first which came to mind..when you mentioned World Cinema. Jaya
I loved Rainman - it was touching. Its about 2 brothers, one is materialistic and the other is autistic. Gone with the Wind - Story about a strong resolute woman. Must see. My fair lady - Huge transformation of a flower girl to a lady. Casablanca - Great movie about passionate love Bridges of madison county - great memoir of a 4 day love affair of a woman. Silence of the lambs - chilling
