Sugar-coated Fennel Seed

    Hello - Can anyone please tell me how to make sugar-coated fennel seeds (saunf)? I just can't get it right and I am sure one of you talented ladies knows how! Thanks for sharing!

    Suji (Bombay rava) kakara

    Ingredients
    2 cup Suji
    1 + 1/2 cup Maida flour
    1+1/2 cup sugar
    2+1/2 cup water
    250 gm Ref.oil
    salt
    Process:
    1. Mix Suji and maida in a dry bowl properly Keep it aside
    2. Heat water and mix 1/3 tea spoon of salt, sugar
    3. After boiling of water(15 min) mix suji and maida mixture slowly in that hot water.(Dont switch off your gas,make it midium flame)
    4. Mix in a roti stick (so that u can easily know when it is done)such a way that there will be no raw suji and maida.
    5. If required You can add some cold water also while mixing.
    6. It should not be very hard and very wet.
    7. when it is done put the oil pan in gas
    8. Make small round and thick shape.
    9. Put that in the hot oil pan and fry until it will not light red
