How beautiful is tamil language and tamil songs. Surf the malayalam channels what we hear is tamil songs for reality show. I don't have to surf podhigai JayaTv etc. Out of curiosity I asked one of the girls the reason' Aunty you have a big canvass in Tamil pattu where in malayalm we end up singing in a set of ragas only the lyrics change. I don't know whether she is right. Anyway hearing Tamil communicating with the Tamil community are my ecstatic moments. Just a stray thought from kanaka.
I think this is common in South Indian songs as few songs are originated from raagas. I may be wrong, other friends here can correct me.
