Hi friends, Here is a story that is really funny for mothers because they alone can understand the essence . But this is to narrate for kids. Once my younger kid narrated this in a story telling competition and she won first prize. Moral of this story : Look before you leap forward. Long long ago so long ago there was a king . He is so nice that all his subjects loved him very much. He never wanted his subjects to suffer from heavy tax .So we was appreciated by his people. One day he had been to forest for hunting. Those days kings went to forest when wild animals cross their border from inner circle of forest to the verge of village and in the name of hunting the king with his soldiers chase the wild ones to get into deeper forest again. Those single animals like elephant or tiger or wolf which are not among their group & wandering at the verge of village are alone being hunted as those animals would have been rejected by their concern group for not abiding the their group rule and as a consequence the king of that country to save a village from wild animals would have hunted them. Fine coming again to story..One day the king had been to forest to hunt . There he was lost . He roamed a long distance before he could find a tree to rest under. There he met a monster. The monster was having a bi..i.g treasure. The king said " Hey monster this is my country and so this treasure belongs to me" . Both started arguing. Finally the monster said, " Ok i shall give u this treasure. But upon one condition . If u give me a work that i cannot finish then i shall give u this treasure. But if not then i will eat u up ". The king agreed immediately without thinking. Then he started ordering work " Hey monster take me to my palace". Then comes one by one as like this " Clean my country" , " Separate the rice and sugar" ," count the sugar cubes a sack of sugar" etc.. The monster did all wok in no minute . The king was shocked and confused . He gave a deep thought. Then he decided to seek the help from an old wise women of his country . He went , met her and explained the issue. And said that he has no more work to order and that then the monster would eat him up. The old granny went to her neighborhood and came back in a moment with a crying baby of months old. She asked the king to call the monster and then asked him to order the monster to stop the baby from crying. The monster tried all his tricks but all in vain. He could not make the baby stop crying. So he gave back the baby and also the treasure and ran off into the forest to save his life. The king won the treasure by learning the moral "Look before leap forward" :thankyou2: for listening.
