it's amazing...so many doubts...how have u done it? what does dot painting mean? what are the materials used? is it painting or pencil shading? pl throw some light.

As the name suggests, it is a method of creating a picture simply by way of dots.Usually done with pen and ink, requires patience.Here is a link to explain....

This is how I did it.
It was traced on a ivory sheet, hence that slight yellow colour is visible.
If u can free hand draw the design it will be better.
I used a rotring pen & ink for this.
After tracing the design u have to start by putting dots wherever dark more dots has to be put.
The link which Kaluputti gave is useful to get an idea.....
Any more doubts feel free to ask.
