    Hello IL,
I had a ques, whether the custom of touching feet of MIL daily after lighting evening diya
still follows? I m tired doing daily, if I miss she tells n reminds me to touch her feet! Also SIL is one month younger to me but married early,so my MIL tells me to touch her feet too but she never touches mine! N I am her elder bros wife! I have said no to it! All the customs are disgusting, no respect n love left, all bitter. Y still follow! My mother never told me to touch her feet daily. U always hav thr blessings.

one thing i have realized and experienced is that the so called ' Indian customs' is the most easiest excuse the IN-LAWS have to get their way when dealing with the DIL.
one is 'Indian Customs' and the other is the 'AGE difference, and they are older in age to you, so shouldn't be questioned'

so you have the choice to accept the customs mentioned by the older people or make sure they follow it before they tell you. just plain ignore and do what you think is best.

    simple as that !
