    Puranpoli - this is with Toor Dhal!!

    Though this is prepared like a stuffed paratha, the taste is awesome & it is very soft.
    Makes 5-6.

    Dough:

    Wheat flour - 1 cup

    Oil - 2 tbsp

    Powdered sugar - 2 tsp

    Salt - a pinch

    water to make the dough.

    Filling:

    Soak ¾ cup tur dhal for 30 mtes & cook till grainy.

    Drain & grind fine, finally adding ¾ cup powdered jaggery.

    Heat 1 tbsp ghee & sauté the filling till it becomes thick & reaches rolling consistency.

    Add nutmeg & cardamom powders.

    Proceed as shown in the photos.
