    The pics are beautiful and self-explanatory.. I'll surely give it a try.

    One question:
    If you 1st pic of 16 chains, you have 2 threads , are u using double woolen thread ( 2 threads ?) is it to give a thick sole for the shoe ?

    Hai ranchu........in booties not only for sole whole is made by two threads together.sole is two thread of white and body is made by one red and one black together.hope you get it:hide:sandhya

    Yes perfect ! awesome !

    I dont know about dc or hdc stitches , but now i get an idea on how to proceed. i'll give it a try..

    my mother used to do big sweaters / mufflers / thulasi maadam etc in crochet. during my school days I just learnt by seeing her do this . And am glad I remember this even now.

    Am doing a huge shawl its only 100 lines done will complete and post a pic.

    i bought the crochet needle and yarn ....
    so starting today ....

    how have you used double yarn ... do i have to first make the whole ball of yarn into double thread ????
