Starting Paleo Diet Mar 1st 2018

    Hi all...

    I'm starting paleo diet from today.. these r the fundamentals for one to follow..

    Day 1 Mar 1st 2018 70 kgs target weight is 50 kgs..

    For the meat based diet, why does it say all meat has to be with skin and fat? Isn't that against the idea of losing weight?

    Best of luck, sapthu. I cant join but will be reading thread. Can't join as following diet will mean I will be on permanent fast. : )

    This is a high fat low carbs diet...thats why Should wat eat more of fat pa.. that way ur hunger level n quantity will reduce n u will automatically lose weight.

    @sapthu02 long time.all the best. hope it is just weight loss you are looking and have no underlying complaints of cholesterol or any issues.

    paleo is hard for a vegertarian like me who does not even eat eggs. i have heard of some success from people followinf the vegetarian diet.

    do check with your dr before you start because reducing too much carb can have a pull back effect if your body is used to carbs..

    It's a doctor who had given this advice. So under doctor supervision I'm doing paleo. I guess I sud be doing fine. Need some ppl to join me... for motivation atleast

    Good @sapthu02. It was just a caution and happy to know you are following dr advice.

    Can’t give company as it is a little tough for me to follow this diet

    Hello Guys.. I have started this Paleo diet again from June 1st 2018.
    I had a break becoz of a wedding in the family.
    I started with 69.8 Kgs on 1st and now in 14 days lost 3 Kgs.
    And i feel energetic, and diabetic levels have come down and i have become more active

    Paleo needs more intake of Fat.

    What is my usual food is:
    4.30 am - wake up
    after refreshing 20 ml of coconut oil i just drink
    by 9.30 am Break fast. Usually Egg fry / burji or boiled sauted eggs on all days except on Thursday.
    Thursday Break fast is Bullet proof coffee
    around 11 am 1 green tea without sugar
    lunch 1.15 pm - usually paleo allowed veggies cooked in ghee / butter / coconut oil with eggs or cucumber or paneer
    around 4 pm - have some snacks like - fried lotus seeds, paleo allowed seeds or cucumber / raw guava / raw coconut

    7.30 pm - 1 cup of veggie / non veg soup
    9pm - 1 cup hot water with apple cider vinegar before bed

    one full day water intake is like 5 lts.
