SSN and DL in texas

    hi,
    i am on L2 visa. applied for SSN 4 months back. didnt rcvd yet. can anybody tell me how long it takes? and is it true that without SSN u cant apply for ur driving licence for L2 visa holders? ladies can u guide me in this regard. i really appreciate ur help.

    I dint have my SSN wen I took my written test for DL. They jus asked for my passport and my husband's office ID (since I was on H4). I also showed them my EAD. But I am not sure about the L2 visa.
