sprout maker in edison !!!

hi ..
I keep saying this sprout maker in almost all edison shops ...hv anyone bought htis b4 ??? is it worth the money ? becos it looks attractive & I love sprouts so tot if it can make job easier ,....I can give it a try ...!!
pls pour in ur suggestion !! :hide:

First time hearing of this -:shock:-- does it make them sprout faster or something ... ??

You can make sprouts by soaking overnight in any vessel & then draining on colander ... that's it ! What does a 'sprout maker' do that the above process won't do ??

ya thats what even I do .....but this sprout maker is like ur tiffin carrier....3 levels. in the lowest u pour water, in the nxt 2 u can keep a variety of sprouts u want. ...then u can keep it like 3-4 days also. It wld hv no smell & also the sprouts wld be real longer unlike the traditional way we do : D

Hi Joshila,

To my knowledge, sprouts are at optimum nutrition when their length is small, that is just a cm. or two, after they start sprouting . The longer they grow apparently not so much of vitamins + they also begin to taste slightly bitter. And about keeping in same container for 3, 4 days -- won't fungus form in them ???

sprouts maker is something very new to me.... I dont think it would anything more than what we can do in a vessel or casserole as given in Chitvish forum....
