I'm posting this from my food blog. Had made the parathas today for dinner and it was yummy. I had bought a big bunch of spring onions. Was wondering how to finish it off apart from using it in regular soups, dals etc. I then tried this paratha. The taste was awesome. You'll fall in love with this paratha. And what else, its healthy. Ingredients Wheat flour - 1 cup Besan / Kadala Maavu / Senaga Pindi - 2-3 tbsp Spring Onions - 1/2 cup finely chopped. (if you like, you may increase the quantity) Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp Salt - as required Oil / ghee - as required Procedure Finely chop the spring onions (both white and green) Make a dough with all ingredients with sufficient water. Note- water required would be little lesser than usually required. Smear a little oil over the dough and keep aside for 15-20 minutes. Divide into balls and make chapathis in the usual way by smearing either ghee or oil on both sides and cook till done. Serve hot with plain curd or any curry. I find it heavenly even when served without any side dish.
