It is very simple...our scriptures classify the impurities of the mind into six, namely, kama (lust), krodha (anger), lobha (greed), moha (attachment), mada (pride) and matsarya (jealousy).when any of these are the reason for any of our action that is not good. All worship, meditation, service to others etc., lead to purification of the mind, is it not...like Viswamitra has said,even if people become unhappy because of something we did that for everyone's good ..!
@kaluputti Thank you for summary of impurities indicated in the scriptures. It is such a coincidence that the subject of "purity" is my next subject in the spiritual study circle and these six impurities are highlighted in my presentation. Your timing is perfect.

I agree I agree though all scriptures say that is the easiest thing to do and Bagavad Gita says.. it is an open secret, only we don't know where that happens and try all wrong places and things.
