"Dad, I want to ask you something," the son started. He is 10 years old.
    "Tell me?"
    "Did you study B.Sc Chemistry?"
    "Yes. Why do you ask?''
"Why did you start a timber shop after studying chemistry?"
"Why don't you..do business related to your studies. your studies have nothing to do with your work, dad"

"Well, now you're riding a bicycle...how does it run?"

"It runs because it has tyres!"
"What happens if you don't inflate the tube in that tyre?"
    "Can't ride a bicycle."

"Well, who was the first to invent the pneumatic bicycle tire... tell me!"
"Dad, it was invented by a scientist named John Dunlop from Scotland."
    "Correct answer.
John Dunlop invented the pneumatic bicycle tire. But he was not a scientist. He was a veterinarian. He had nothing to do with Tyre. He thought of a way to make his son's tricycle go faster. Found this pneumatic tyre.

The bicycle ran faster when using it. The pneumatic tyre system became popular and the credit for its invention rest with John Dunlap.''

"Dad. I am surprised by this new information."

''Yes. Everyone who hears this will be surprised that Veterinarian invented the pneumatic tyre'.

John Dunlop did not see his education as a departmental education. He thought he had learnt in college how to look sharp and closely at any subject.

That's why even his son's bicycle, even though it doesn't belong to his studies or department, looked closely and found an inflatable tire.
    "Understood, Dad!"

"I can do B.Sc Chemistry and run a wood or timber shop. But I apply the same strategy in business as I studied and understood chemistry. In that sense, the education I received is very useful for me.

No matter what field you study, education is education. It keeps on increasing our knowledge and giving benefits. Therefore, one should study any field willingly," Dad concluded.

His son's face showed satisfaction at getting the correct answer to his question.

Dear reader do you agree with this? Could you post similar exp by you or by your pal?

I hv specialised in automobile engine chassis design and manufacture - seven years worked in related field in Defence organisation but later for about 7 years I dealt with import and export via ship air and related custom clearance & logistics.
    That enhanced my global exposure.
