    Onward Journey

    Train No. : 22601

    Train Name : Shirdi Express

    Stations : Chennai Central to Shirdi Sai Nagar

    Starts 1st Day : 10.10am (Every Wednesday)

    Reaches 2nd Day : 11.30am (on Thursday)

    Return Journey

    Train No. : 22602

    Train Name : SNSI Chennai Express

    Stations : Shirdi Sai Nagar to Chennai Central

    Starts 1st Day : 08.25am (Every Friday)

    Reaches 2nd Day : 09.40am (on Saturday)

    My suggestion would be to opt for Train journey by yourself instead of Package Tours (Sai Akshaya tours, Mylapore) Travels also take you in the same train and back, but take you to temples around with much less time in Samadhi Manadir.

    Plan ahead for train tickets, all details are given in this thread plan accordingly and spend time from thursday 12 noon to Friday 08am (which itself is less going on a long journey)

    Atleast attend one aarthi, Online bookin for aarthi and darshan details are given in this thread at #4

    NOTE:

    Any DEVOTEE want to spend more than a day at Samadhi Mandhir, plan for one journey direct and the other leg from Shirdi to Pune by Bus (5-6 hours) and take train from Pune to Chennai, daily trains available.

    Flights are available upto Pune again it can be bus from Pune to Shirdi or hire a cab to and fro from Pune to shirdi and back for a day or two depending upon your other factors.

    Reaches 2nd Day : 11.30am (on Tuesday)

    Return Journey

    Train No. : 16218

    Train Name : SNSI Mysore Express

    Stations : Shirdi Sai Nagar to Bangalore / Mysore

    Starts 1st Day : 23.55pm (Every Tuesday)

    Reaches 2nd Day (bangalore) : 04.00am(on Thursday)

    2nd Day (Mysore) : 06.55am (on Thursday)

    The Shirdi Express from Chennai mentioned in the previous post can be boarded at Yelhanka Juntion on Wednesday at 16.00 (4pm) and while return journey can get down at Yelhanka around 2am (past midnight) on Thursday.

    Thank you very much for all the information you have provided for all those who want to visit Baba's Mandir.

    I have been to shirdi many times, have been to shanishignapur as well. And hopefully will visit again next year.

    I have immense faith in Him and He is my only saviour. I pray to Him, I talk to Him, He is always there for me whenever I need Him and I know this must be the case with all His devotees.

    May Baba bless you today and always for passing on all the valuable information regarding Him and His Shirdi Mandir.

    I have been to this thread before and came here today from Ladki1's thread. This is a really informative compilation..thanks a million for that.
    A small suggestion,can you please make it a sticky in this forum?
    I think you can do it yourself now as you are the moderator(not sure).This will be so useful.Like you mentioned,so many threads are posted in a day,so many get moved to page 6 or more,and one doesn't get to read all.
