There is one very good restaurant name 'Ramakrishna' , close to MG road. the food will be very tasty. typical SI food. after ur meal, u can also try the meeta pan in a pan stall outside the restaurant (my favourite )u can try it over the weekend -Deepa
Speaking of FC road, if you are interested in sizzlers Yana is good and of course Chaitanya is good for Parathas and Combos but it's a non veg and veg joint. There is Koyla at the far end of FC road which is famous or its Non Veg food. I am a veg but those places have been visited by my colleagues
There is one more, which is very famous, but not SI. It is " traditional " Rajasthani food..it is purely traditional -> chokhidhani restaurant. try chokhidhani.com -Deepa
It's quite far in the nagar road but I belive the food is traditional Rajasthani. One can also try out the Mayur Dining hall in JM Road/Camp which also serves very good thalis.

I just replied to Gayathri's chain on restaurants in Pune, and now here. Someone might think I am a big hog. I wouldn't say they are entirely wrong though -G
Hi Gunjaaish (nice name!:thumbsup) Thanks for the names of the restaurants. I love eating at different places, so your list has added a lot of info to my brain!. And hey, I dont consider you a hog:bonk, I think I am all the same as you!:crazy. BTW, I thought Southern Spice has closed down? Isn't that the case?
Goodness! Really?? I also heard that the Shivsagar outlet in Wanowrie shut down too. Look what happened after I just left Wanowrie and moved to another suburb. Is Banthai up and running? This one was next to Bakers point on NIBM road. Nice fish cakes there Anyway, I am going to be depressed about Southern Spice shutting down. I loved the malabari curry there!
