    Hi friends,
I came across these easy hair care tips and thought of sharing them with you:

    - Vinegar mixed in warm water makes a nice conditioner for hair. This will add bounce to your hair and will give it a look full of life.
    - Mixture of egg white, 2 teaspoons of castor oil, 1 tsp of glycerin can be applied on hair and scalp. It should be kept for some time and then rinsed off.
    - Make a paste of besan and apply it on your hair, keep it for an hour and then wash it with the water drained from cooked rice. After some time, rinse well with a mild shampoo.
    - It is great to massage castor oil in the hair as it helps in speedy hair growth.
    - Washing hair with tea liquor once a week conditions the hair and leaves it shining.
    - Camphor mixed in coconut is also a great remedy to combat dandruff.
    - Use of curd before shampoo can be beneficial as it acts as a moisturizer to your hair. Apply the yoghurt for an hour and then use a mild shampoo to wash it off. And see how your hair gets a new lease of life.
    - Use of diluted lemon juice can help in the reduction of dandruff.
    - Do not shampoo your hair everyday it will make your hair rough and dry. - Thrice every week is ideal for shampooing your hair.
    - When blow drying your hair use your fingers to untangle the knots before using your comb.
    - For graying hair you can use a solution of gooseberry which should be boiled in four cups of water. Add a pinch of sugar and continue boiling it. Make the mixture so that the quantity is equal to one cup. Then add two cups of mehandi, lemon juice, and egg along with gooseberry solution. Apply this mixture on hair and then wash it after two hours.
    - For healthy and shining hair you can condition your hair with beer, curd, and egg.
    - A very important tip for controlling hair loss and thinning is to boil a few hibiscus flowers and coconut oil and then with the filtered water wash your hair.
    - Trim your hair every two months to get rid of split ends so that your hair grows long and strong.
    - Go for scalp massages as it induces blood circulation which helps in hair growth.

Please do try the ones which are convenient to you and do post your feedback.

    Luv,
    Vidya

Here's PART 2 of those tips:
    * Lemon juice mixed with water can also be used as a last rinse to give your hair a shiny and bouncy look.
    * To bring that shine one can use honey to keep your scalp moisturized. You can make honey lotion for your hair by mixing 3 teaspoons of honey for pint of water.
    * To get that extra shine for your hair brew one cup of strong espresso, let it cool. Pour the espresso over your dry hair and leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse it to get the extra shine and glow.

    hope this helps :thumbsup

    a few more tips :

Home Remedies for Dandruff- Add 1 teaspoon of camphor to half a cup of coconut or neem oil. Store it in glass container. Dosage: Massage this oil into the scalp before bed.
    - Mix 1 teaspoon of castor, mustard and coconut oil each and massage into the scalp.
    - Mix one part of lemon juice with two parts of coconut oil. Massage into the roots of the hair regularly.

Dosage: Wash with warm water after three to four hours or leave overnight.

Home Remedies For Hair Loss - Massage the scalp gently with coconut or almond oil daily for 10 to 15 minutes.
    - Boil neem leaves in water. Cool, strain and rinse hair with it.
    - Increase green leafy vegetables, salads, milk, fruits and sprouts in the diet. Take more proteins, milk, buttermilk, yeast, wheat germ, soya beans, whole grains and nuts.
    Hope this helps.

    luv,

Vitamin deficiencies also causes hair loss.
A factor that may cause hair loss is a lack of nutrients in your body. It is possible to expect that if you lack certain vitamins that aid in the growth and maintenance of healthy hair, you may experience hair loss. A few vitamins that may cause hair loss when lacking are Zinc, Vitamin B12 and Biotin.
You can add zinc to your diet from the following foods: wheat germ, muscle meat, fish and egg yolks.
You can add Vitamin B12 to your diet by adding foods such as eggs, meat, and poultry.
Some food sources of biotin include brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds and walnuts.
