    Hi again guys!
am attaching a few coloured soft pastel sketches of mine.
the girl on the chair has been done mainly with black charcoal and then i have given coloured accents!
the others - dog, the togetherness statue, the man, the girl with the hat, the buddha have all been done with soft coloured pastels. of these, only the buddha and the statue have been sketched looking at a still-life i.e., an object, while the others have been sketched looking at photographs.
hope you have plenty of comments! :):hide:

    Hi Su,
Very beautiful work. All the sketches are very accurate in finish and the line work too is very good. the colour tone is excellent and the Sketch of Buddha is the best i liked.
PS You could not attach the last one in the first post because you can attach only 5 photos in one post.

    tinku,
i did organise a showing of paintings of my students, my friend, my teacher & mine in jan 2010- there was tremendrous response, over 75 people came to view the paintings - from all over singapore! we had exhibited tanjores, tanjore glass, oils, water colours, pastels, acrylics, charcoal sketches......!
i did this to encourage my students to paint more! we have decide to do this once every 6 months!:thumbsup
