Hi Ooviya, Please ask him to check with the doctor and i would recomment one simple exercise which an Ortho has recommended to my husband when he had similar pain becuase of two wheeler driving. Lie down in a flat surface on your belly side. Keep both hands on sides and try lifting only the head. The ortho told us that if this is done daily, slip disc can be avoided. If its in initial stage, it could be cured. But do consult your family doctor too to know the reason for the pain. All the best.
