    Hope to travel Post-Covid

I will be a single lady traveling herself.

Which places inside and outside USA are safe for a lady to travel herself.

I am not party type lady

And I am sick of relatives saying "wait till marriage, then travel with husband"

From the posts here, the husbands make wives miserable on trips, and in public in general.

Why have false reliance on others for your inner happiness?

Even after covid, no matter where you go, you'll see miserable wives and the causes, out and about in all places inside and outside USA. There are no safe places to escape from that.
They say this to point out that you'd never notice anyone else's when you bring your own (misery).

Thank you for the link. It is quite comprehensive.

Are you a comedian? You always have interesting responses. You do have a subtle way of cheering up people

I like your laughing and rolling emoji.

Also, I am interested in having high-end flights, and staying in high-end hotel. That doesn't mean I am safe from danger though.

NY Times article is a cautionary tale. We tell women to be careful instead of teaching men not to harm women.

    Thank you for your advice.

What do you tell a person who says, "Well, it is a movie, and movies are dreams."?

Of course movie is good indicator in the type of people who watch them.

What are the movie goers values, what do they dream of.

If you had taken both dozes of vaccine covishield or moderna or single doze of Johnson Johnson, you are considered safe from being infected in any part of USA. One has got to be lucky to get a proper understanding life partner to go around world but life is short art is long.
Trot the globe and enjoy. You may come across your dream partner too.

Travel to COVID free Italy japan: fly over to witness live volcanoes that erupt often! Visit holland Helsinki enjoy spectacular panorama in the sky the northern lights. Travel to Australia get dropped in huge cage into sea to have close view of huge marines.

Agreed. Movies are mostly based on fiction. Still movies are motivators also. My suggestion is limited to your worries about a lady travelling in the wild wild world. It is not so. I have seen many ladies travelling alone, with only a backpack.
One has to be careful even within the four walls of home and that applies to travelling outside too.

I did look into a women only tour for myself and DD. Thanks to covid that didn’t happen but there are quite a few women’s only travel companies that organize good trips world wide. Pick a US based organization with good reviews. Ask a few queries on Reddit or other sites and compare the organizers. Try a trip within the country first and then venture on international tours. My neighbor went to Machu Pichu with one such tour group and she mentioned that it was really an awesome trip.

I don't think there is something like the right time to travel. Traveling with family/husband and solo are both are different experiences. Travel when you can, and don't wait for any specific phase to happen to enjoy things in life.

Most national and state parks in the US offer guided tours with rangers. They are safe and you won't feel lonely. I have done one such 4-day grand canyon hiking and camping tour.

You can plan for Antarctica. Which is totally safe, you will fly directly from your place to the city you board the expedition ship. Rest they will take care of it. If you book in advance it can cost you around 10-12k or even less, also you can pay in installments. It's a great life experience. I have been planning for years.
Iceland and easter island chile are also totally safe. You don't need any guides. You can explore on your own If you rent a car in Iceland to explore and on easter island, you can rent a 2 wheeler and travel across the island.

China, Japan, and South Korea are safe too. Most European countries are relatively considered safe but crowded and petty crimes are common. The public transport system is well connected you can travel across conveniently.

I have traveled to work in South America, European counties, and few Asian countries solo or with a colleague. Sometimes if my stays are more than a month my H used to join. On solo travel, sometimes I stayed in hostels, I felt they are budget-friendly like 15$-20$ or even less and they are a great place to meet other travelers and get helpful tips/experiences.
Whichever place you choose you just have to be aware of your surroundings, wear colors that you could blend in with the crowd easily, careful about your belongings and documents, you should follow the sunrise and sunset rule, trust no one, follow your intuitions, research that place's common tourist scams, have a proper plan, and don't look lost when on streets.
