Hi Vasumathy, When i went through the sites ASQTB & CSTE to find more information, it seemed to me that candidates who are already working in the field of Software Testing are only eligible for taking the exam, as there are asking for the employer details in the registration forms. I dont have any working experience in software testing. Can i take the tests?Kindly help me.
hi, i did my mca in 2003 and got married in 2004.i conceived immediately and couldnt search for work.this year in may i did a testing course in stc adyar.they teach you theoritically but no good practicals.u cant get a clear idea of what u r going to do.they r money minded.they say they 'll conduct interviews and give jobs.they'll never call u.if u call them they'll keep telling u ,call the next day.u keep calling and one day u get vexed and forget abt it.this happened to me.i dont know abt others. in sep there was ajob fair conducted by hindu.i went there.there was a company called mobius.it had no testing opening, but there was an opening for content writer.i registered there.this month i got a call from them.i cleared the written test, aptitude test and hr round.they offered me 14000pm.i'm 27 and this is my first job.so age is no bar. cheer up and keep trying. bye, viji
Hi Manuu, Only for the CSTE, u need to have prior experience. But for ISTQB certification , we dont need any prior expereince. Cheers Vasu
