Get spouse checked up by the doc and make sure there is no health problem. Most likely there will not be any. So then ear plugs and if it gets too bad sleeping in separate rooms for the sanity of both is not a bad idea. My two cents.
You will get used to it dear.. For me now its like cant sleep without it!!! hve been sleeping hearing it for 10 years... haya
Well, I am not sure but I've heard one of my friend say that her DH uses something like a strip over the nose while sleeping and it does reduce snoring.I think I've seen ads in India too.Sinus inflation could be one of the causes.Do check out with a doctor.
Yes - nose strips help! Does your DH snore a lot while he's lying o his back? If so, you could gently poke him and get him to sleep on his side - cuts the snoring...
Sounds like OCDGurl woke up in the mid night to do this post. I can see the snoring effect live BTW, My dad used to snor (not really loud but we know when he was snoring etc). I used to wait for his snor so that I can jump into the street to play (positive side affect ) Anyways, you seems like that you are in the (as Haya said above) TRANSITION time.. of getting used to It.. (I remember a nice scene by Kamalhasan in Puspak movie... He records the noise of a market so that he can sleep well in the Star Hotel, by listening to it)...
ohhhh dear,i can understand what it feels like.besides what other said try putting some nice humming sound which can put you to sleep and reduce that snoring sound.we use this tactic to put babies to sleep.i personally use this, even in month of dec,i had fan on,of course facing other side.now its summer so fulllllllllllllllllllllll fan on.try this
