    Hi Sonu,

    http://www.indusladies.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13129&postcount=27

Thx for your recipe for the chick pea burgers cant wait to try them, Anyways, if i soak overnight and pressure cook chenna and blend it in the mixie, will it become soggy? Will it separate when i try to fry it in oil? Also instead of oatmeal can i use regular oats or bread crumbs?

    Please let me know.

    Your friend,

    Chana (Chickpea) Burgers

    Hi Rukmani,

Sorry to answer it late...i will clear your doubt..U need to soak channas overnight , then remove the skin other day n pressure cook it . Drain water thoroughly n make it then puree it .It wont turn soggy..Try to make the mixture more dry ..Ya u can use regular oats and breadcrumbs too..if ur mixture is still soggy will give u a tip soak bread in water n remove full water from it mash it and add in the mixture ...ur cutlets will turn hard now.. try n let me know
