Sleeping Position During Pregnancy

    Hi to all..am In 16weeks of pregnancy..and am unable to sleep in sides..on my back onl I can able to sleep with out any discomfort... when I wake up in night and turned to left side to sleep am feeling very inconvenient to sleep..it's worrying me alot bcoz in pregnancy we have to sleep in left side onl which I can't ..am afraid of my baby too whether baby can get nutrients or not...is any one suffered with sleeping aid during there pregnancy and how u over come this..and als if I can sleep on my back ,upto how many weeks I can sleep on my back...
    Note:I asked my doc regarding this he said no restrictions u can sleep in anyway ..
    Plz share ur ideas and help me.. thank you

    Hi ,

    for some more time please sleep towards your left. you still have another minimum 20 weeks left for the gestation. Atleast till 7 months are over you should be sleeping on one side. This is to avoid the umblical cord getting around the kid.

    Please consult with your doctor to have a clear picture on this.

    Oho kk...then I wil try to sleep on sides...I asked my doc he was not saying anything he said u can sleep in anyway...thanks for sharing the details...

    Sleeping on left side is good for baby.
