Yesbee - THanks for the info. Does the cup say it is for 3+ months? Vidyaa/Pon - Let me know once u try it. Since LO cannot hold it, how do u plan to give? On the lap, just like feeding bottle?
Ramya, Shibu holds everything that we give to her... Probably you have to wait till ur DD gets hold of things.. Vidyaa
Ramya, I dont remember if I saw 3+ Months mentioned in the Cup. But the lady in the shop told that the cup with 1 hole is for 3+ months and 2/3 is for 6+ months.
Thanks YesBee. Will check it out this weekend. All - Did anyone use this for 3-4 month old babies with sucess?
Nuby's india site confirms what SB said. Dang, where was this when I was bf-ing... this could have been the difference between me being a SAHM and WFHM.
sb - can u pls give me the exact name of my Nuby cup (i visited their website and I am confused as to which is the one). TIA ramya
Ramya, I had not noted down the exact name of the cup that I have. But looking at the site I guess this is the one "ID9647 Poly Wrap PC - 1 Pack - 210ml Twin Handle Cup with No-Spill™ drinking Spout - with PP cover" (Drinking->Design Cups). Mridusudha has posted the picture of the cup which is the same as mine.
gals me too guessing should start sippy with DD......... sometimes the bottles scares the heck out of me... she does prefer bottle to breast, not that she completely hates the breast, but what if that day comes? right now i give only one feed with expressed milk and she loves ze bottle! other feeds i directly latch her.... but i havent still gotten used to pumping as such. i tried the cup and spoon and she takes forever to drink, also once done she gives me the "wat the heck" look and latches on anyway ramya, so i am confused, wat do u use for your baby right now?cup spoon?
Girls, UPDATE: I decided to wait on giving breast milk in the sippy cup.. DS does sip little water from the sippy cup but he thinks it's funny and takes it out every 15 seconds and as a result he spits little water he drinks...I don't want to waste breast milk..So I guess I will wait for some more time before I start giving breast milk in the sippy cup...
Mridusudha, The bottle says 6+ months.Did you try it when he was younger than that? Pon/Vidya/anyone, As suman asked ,did anyone try this?
