I agree that any kind of chemical medication should not be taken for migraines or headaches.

The best thing that works for me is Ginger Tea. Ginger is a traditional medicine that is used to treat stomach-aches, digestion problems and headaches. But it should be used in limit though. It also helps quell the nausea that often accompanies migraines. I am not a coffee or tea drinker but whenever I have a headache/migraine, I go for ginger tea.

But if the migraine/headache gets severe for long period, work with your primary care physician to identify triggers to prevent migraines before they occur.

    Hi ,

I have the same condition (Sinus + Migraines). For Migraines I do take tylenol Extra strength because it gets unbearable. For Sinus Doctor Advised me to use Saline Drops, Nose drops that keeps the nose moist.

Well I have overcome this problem and what worked for me:

    1. for sinus headache, jala neti can give instant relief sometimes.
    2. White Flower Oil from the Chinese pharmacy: rub on the temples...its really good
    3. ginger chews for nausea

But to cure mine....the real cause of so much suffering: garlic. Garlic is poison to me and many others. Even in small small quantities it will get me and not immediately but the day after. Try going without garlic and see if this is true for you. The plants related to garlic that give some other allium allergy people trouble are onions, scallions, shallots, ramps, asparagus and ginger. I am only sensitive to garlic, ramps and asparagus.
