Since I have Golu at home till today it has been hectic

Today is Sashti and the sixty day of Navrathri. Till today I have been enjoying visiting friends for haldi kumkum in the morning and friends coming home in the evening to our house for haldi kumkum

Had the opportunity of going to temple on sunday and Tuesday. In Guruvayurappan temple also they have kept Golu.

Yesterday my husband's friend who is 80 yrs old broke 101 coconuts in the temple. DH's friend had asked my husband also to come to temple so that he can also break the coconut. But since our maid came late by the time we went his other friends had already broken the coconut.

On Monday I could visit only my brother . Since he stays in Chembur it took me time to get the bus while going and while coming also. Morning I left at 10 a.m. and by the time I came back it was 3 p.m. Then had lunch and kept for chundal. Got little time to rest. Evening some ladies came , then i went for puja in the colony.

Today I had to visit 7 houses for haldi kumkum in the morning and came back by 1.30 p.m. First kept the vethila , pakku, manjal, kumkum, coconut etc separately. Then had lunch and kept for chundal. Today till now only one lady, her husband and one girl came.

Till now 55 to 60 ladies came for haldi kumkum and 12 children. Evening at 8.30 p.m. they start aarthi in the colony and then have Garba till 10 p.m.
