I have seen lord sri ganesh idols in various forms like "Tiled head" and in "Relaxed position" like images that I have attached.

some people say they are auspicious, they bring peace and prosperity in life... I could not get anything in detail for these forms of lord ganesha. What do you guys think? Please share..

Very nice pictures. I am also not having any idea on the poses. But seeing many number of Ganeshas on Vinayagar Chathurthi day is considered to be auspicious.

Are you interested to know about different forms of Ganesha or different postures of Ganesha..?
There are 32 different forms of Ganesha. Like Bala Ganapathi, Taruna Ganapathi, Vira Ganapathi, Shakthi Ganapathi, Siddhi Ganapathi, Lakshmi Ganapathi, Maha Ganapathi and so on...
But it seems you are talking about postures...
There are 4 main postures... (may be more, but these 4 are main)
All these postures and stances have a specific meaning and also represent the various moods of Lord Ganesha. Be it standing, sitting, reclining or dancing, he bestows his blessings on his followers at every stage...
Some of the most common postures of Lord Ganesha ..
    Standing Posture:
The standing posture is a representation of rigidity and the correct attitude. This posture is known as Abhanga which means no bent body. In some cases the idols show his double bent body which is called Dvibhanga and thrice bent body which is called Tribhanga. It has also been noted that sometimes while Lord Ganesha is standing, his one leg rests firmly on the ground while the other is on his vahana (vehicle), the mouse. In this form Lord Ganesha looks huge because of his enormous belly.

    Sitting Posture:
Usually when we see a seated idol of Lord Ganesha, he is sitting on a throne or on a lotus flower. The most common sitting posture is known as the Lalitasana which actually means sitting with ease. It shows Ganpathi sitting on a throne with his left leg folded and the right leg resting on the ground or vice versa. In some of the idols the Lord is seen sitting cross legged on a lotus flower and that particular posture denotes that he is meditating. The leg that rests on the ground shows that Lord Ganesha is concerned about the affairs of the world and is there to help devotee and bestow his blessings on the world. The other leg however denotes his semi meditation pose and reminds us that Ganpathi is the supreme power.[IMG]
    Reclining Ganesha:
In many idols and painting Lord Ganesha is shown in a reclining posture. It symbolizes luxury, comfort, wealth and prosperity. When Lord Ganesha is shown in this form it gives a very royal and divine look. He is inclined on a throne usually with a pillow to support one of his arms for the extra comfort. This form is seen more in art forms like paintings, sculptures and artefacts than in idols that are worshipped.

Even there's a significance whether Ganesha's trunk curves to the right or the left.
