    I too wear contact lens for the past 15 years and I could relate to your story. I had fixed appointments with doctors to have Lasix surgery, but my people at home were too scared and did not allow me to do this surgery. Enjoyed your writing thoroughly.

    regarding 'doctors in the family'..nobody listens to them..that's the complaint from my dh too..my daughter complains..'amma..he will always say...(if she complains about any pain or anything that sort) nothing to worry..(vera enna pa solla mudiyum...onnum illenaa :biglaugh:)
