    I havealso undergone the laser surgery.... its been three yrs now and so far so good :) The best part is for a few days after the surgery the whole world seems much brighter :)

    I can totally relate to it. I have specs too and wear lenses. But I have no courage for laser surgery :p

    You can try Laser Surgery some time. Just takes 5 mins and the whole World seems brighter as Jaishvats else says. Thanks a lot for stepping in :)

    Hai Ice ...This is really a great post…Beautifully you have narrated your experience during laser surgery…Thanks for sharing… Enjoyed reading it …And my favorite part in this post is the punch line by your mom at the end….. :) :) I am a contact lens user. It was really informative for a person like me who actually don’t know how a laser surgery would be.. Before I believed that they will pass some laser light in to eyes and everything will be ok after that…(haha..hw stupid I am?)Not aware of that instrument to lock in position, that stick , local anesthesia, burning smell etc..

    If you don’t mind could you please tell me what side effects you faced after using contact lenses for 6years?? Just curious to know being a contact lens user…:)

    Thanks a lot for your fb :)

    I got a lot of allergies of late due to continuous lens usage. Well, the lens cannot be blamed! They should not be used for no more than 6 hours per day. And while wearing, we should be very careful, like should not rub our eyes, etc. But I did not care about these basic precautions. As a result, I got a lot of allergies, that resulted in me seeing a halo, 2 moon(s), etc :rotfl
