Shrewd Professor

On a particular day, the regular Professor did not come to college and therefore, he was substituted by another Professor, by name Dr.Boyd. The class leader, it being his duty, got it confirmed from the college office and wrote in the blackboard for information of the students that “DR. BOYD WILL ENGAGE THE CLASS”.

One mischievous student erased the letter “C” from “CLASS” to make it to read “DR. BOYD WILL ENGAGE THE LASS”.

While entering the class room, Professor noticed this. He quietly went to the black board and erased the letter “L” to make it to read “DR. BOYD WILL ENGAGE THE ASS” inviting laughter from the entire class. Without any punishment the situation was tackled and the student got what he deserved.
