    hi
Few days back i have seen writer and activist(god knows wht kind)Arundhati Roy,the actor Anupam Kher characterised her as a 'one-book wonder' .delivering derogatory statements against Indian Govt.in the rally she address in kashmir.
Her statements were "Kashmir was never an integral part of India nd that British imperialism had been replaced by Indian colonialism in 1947.so it should be given Aazadi"A case of sedition could be filed upon her for kashmir independence demands.
Wht is tht all these activists and slogan shouters mean by "Freedom of Speech"?Does Freedom of speech mean giving derogatory statements on the same land which feeds, protects and nourishes us?
An representative spoke in a debate on the above topic says that he doesn't sees it wrong if he tears the tri-colour flag and ablaze it,he say he has right and is by law free to express and speak.will that be fine by him if his own father's or parents picture is torn ,stamped and put to fire in front of him by someone who has different opinion?
"Freedom of speech is all very well up to a point." But we all should accept that there must be restraints on free speech and any violation or sedition should be put under law who eve it is and it should be a law.until then people who crave for media attention give such statements.

Wht do u all say?Give in ur feedback.

    bye

On a lighter note, had there been any restriction, most of the problems faced by some belagured members would not have arisen in the first place!
