Thanx Sunitha. Those were really cool and easy to follow.

I liked the halter model too.

    Re: Denim pinafore

    Hi Vani,

Thanks for sharing the draft here. Although I have not yet gone through it in detail, I really appreciate your patience in doing this.

BTW what software do you use to draw these? (Excuse me if I have asked this question earlier)

Vani, thanks for sharing. Awesome blog.

I have a stupid question. Is there a particular type of paper on which we can trace the patterns so that it will be easy to transcribe on to the cloth? I tried freezer paper but it is really too flimsy and I did not have much success when cutting the cloth based on the freezer paper model.

    Thank you,

    -Malyatha

Hi malyatha thanks a lot for your appreciation of my blog.Pattern is not traced on the fabric.Draft is drawn on the paper and cut. This pattern is used as a template to cut the fabric.
we use news paper or Brown paper to draw the draft.usually seam width is also taken in to account while drawing the draft. In that case fix the paper-draft on the fabric with pins and cut the Fabric according to the shape. In some cases when we alter the basic draft (please see my post denim
pinafore) we have to draw the seam line and cut the fabric. These drafts are reusable
