    I have been thro' most of the replies but cannot find answers to the following questions all concerning Vanaja's very helpful sari blouse pattern:

    1. seam allowance ...does this have to be add all around the pieces or is it included already?

    2. are there only 2 darts on the blouse front at E and D?

    3. no darts on back?

    will someone please help clear my confusion .

    I must say thanks to all of you for unselfishly sharing your tips on blouse sewing.It adds new meaning to the saying "The joy is in the sharing of the feast'' .
    Knowledge shared increases the sharer's.

    THE ART OF SEWING by ANNA JACOB THOMAS published by UBS Publishers' Distributors Ltd.

    I bought this book in 1994 so i hope it is still in production .

    Hi, this is exactly what I need. I have been searching for something like this for a long time, thanks!
    -I have one doubt, that is, when you cut the paper with the fabric on top, do you leave a space on the fabric or do you just in line with the paper?
