    Hi all,
I am married, no kids yet, 29years old. Since past 3-4 months.. i wake up in the morning with severe lower back pain.. But since recent times it pains so much when i wake up in the morning, that I am unable to turn left or right for sometime. I have to literally use my hands to crawl and turn to my left or right side. I feel like my lower back has stiffed, but after 5-10 minutes it disappears..At times when i turn in my sleep i wake up with this pain. This happens usually when i sleep on my back. Since the past years my lifestyle is the same total desk job 9-5pm plus i sit in the bus while travelling daily to work for total 2 and half hours. I wonder if its my lifestyle or is it something else thats causing it.

I wonder if anyone else faces this problem..i just read the previous post about Ankylosing Spondylitis wondering about it....pls help

yeah, low back pain and stiffness is one of the characters of AS.
other thing is mostly guys are affected with this because of genetic disposition.
check out the tests after consulting a doctor.
do u suffer with pain in other joints also?
    :cheers

    Hullo

Feeling bad for you. Low back pain is such agony.
Please check your mattress and pillows. Too soft can be bad for back.
Also sleeping postures. Dont make your head or feet too higher than back. some people sleep on two fat pillows or put legs up.

Get checked for fibroids in uterus.

Walking in evenings will help improve blood circulation so you will not get stiff muscles. Even dehydration will give cramps according to my doctor.

Whatever it is, please see doctor immediately to rule out Spondylitis .
    Wish you speedy recovery.

Persistance lower back pain may lead to some other joint related problem. It may be due to bad posture or imbalance of body doshas. You can consult with an ayurvedic doctor in details. They are specilized in joint related issues. find more details here. Arthritis Treatments | Lower Back Pain Relief | Infertility Treatment

    Hey,
Lower back pain mostly occurs to the persons who always spend time in sitting position jobs, like painting, computers, travelling longer distance, etc.
"low back pain exercises".... do it smoothly and gently....And,WALKING IS MUST for any human being....
    Do you walk regularly?
Since you have the pain in morning only, it must be the stiffness only as u said...To get rid of stiffness, you have to make your body moving properly, thru some exercises and walking. I think, that will help you.
If it continues further, please have a check up with doctor.
    ALL THE BEST.

    Hi,

I am a software engineer, and I have both neck pain and back pain.
I consulted Ortho specialist and under gone physio therapy treatment.
Physiotherapist thought me exercises. Though i am not following regularly, I do exercises whenever I get pain.

Check the sitting position when you at work.
Also check the bed as said by others.
Before getting these pains also I used to get back pain if I use the mat and sleep in the floor.

Now a days, I am sitting properly when I am at work and felt the improvement.

    Good Luck!!!

    Regards,
    Ladha

Firstly make sure you dont suffer from urine infection or white discharge problem if so then getting treated for them solves your problem. Soft matress increses the pain. also sometimes sleeping posture puts strain on your back, if you have got more bellyfat this also increases if you can practice bhujangasana it is good for you i was suffered from same problem i got it because of gas and acidity problem i controlled them with medications (after consulting doctor) and practiced pavana mukthasana bhugangasana they are wonderful if you can manage pls do it but very slowly. I know the suffering pls take care also consult good doctor.

Try to chekck with your nearest Orthopaedic specialist. Check your seating and sleeping posture. Sometimes lack of calcium also causes this kind pains.
IF required take necessary treatment from Physiotherapist.

    Dear

if you feel like shocking in your back and legs, it could be a sciatica pain. i also suffered from lower back pain which is very worse... To my opinion, consult a good ortho and neuro doctor and get their advise.. if u r in chennai i recommend to visit Dr. Paul Ayya Kutti at Ayeisha Hospital near pursawalkam..

2ndly try for yoga classes,, it will give good result,, i had the same problem, i got english and accupressure treatment in bangalore for one week, now i feel better.

Dont sit for more than 30mintes in same position, have a small walk for 2-3mints, also try to loose your weight if u r over weight.

Walking is good ,, try to walk whenever u get time.

    regards

    noorul ameen,.:thumbsup
