    Hi Revathy,
How are you doing? Good that your anomaly scan went fine! Next check up has more than 3 weeks time for you then!
Only after 18W-20W baby movements will be known for first time moms. If you have tummy fat, it may take little longer to feel it! I felt mine only by 18W. So, you will fell the soft kicks soon! Watch the movements carefully! ;-)
My anomaly was by 20W+ margin only, by then LO showed the presence well!

I had sugar test through fasting, postprandial and HbA1C twice already. Since those things are normal, haven't progressed to GTT. Or may be in later stage they will do it!

Passing time is little tough job though! Watching Fishes, talking to brothers, laptop and sleep makes the time pass for me! Need to think something for the gaps!

    Take care.

    Hi Revathy,
I think GTT is routine test in Second & third Trimester! I have read many ladies in earlier club take GTT around this period.
Hope soon you will face the baby movements! All the best!

    Thanks Vasumathy and Shakthi...

Today I am going for anomaly scan.

@revathyshankar - As Vasumathy told you will feel movements after 20 weeks. I felt it after 21 weeks only,so don't worry.

Ladies, how about the sleeping position. As my mom and friends told I am trying to sleep on sides, but it is very difficult and because of that I am getting back pain.Currently I am on 22 weeks.

    Hi Inku,
All the best to your Ultra sound! Hope you will enjoy watching your little one! :thumbsup

    Hi Kirthi,
All the best to your Anomaly! Hope things will go smooth! Be patient! Enjoy watching your LO!
Sleeping in sides needs more practice! Its hard if you used to lye flat all these days! Keep a pillow as wedge between legs, that may force you to be in sides. Also try a pillow close to your back when lying side. That may protect you to fall to flat position accidentally during sleep! Use pillow support or use your dh or wall to support your back. Initially it will be difficult, soon you can manage it!
I remember reading its best to sleep on sides when you reach 5 months. Can start trying your own ways to peaceful sleep! All the best!
