    Got the husbands semen analysis.
The sperm concentration is 115. the reference range is >=15 million
sperm count is 230. the reference range is 39 million.
Is the million implied for 115 and 230 or is the count just so low?
Is it even worth trying anymore?

My amh is low. AFC seemed fine but doc said fibroid has to be removed. SO a surgery. Some docs say it is fine as long as the fibroid is on the outside walls of uterus and not inside. So mixed opinions.

huhh... im tired depressed anxious .. i dont know

Ask your doctor to interpret the results for you. Doctors will have different opinions about fibroids. You can take a second opinion also. Did they do HSG?

yea my earlier doc said not to meddle with it as long as I get my periods on time or no hard cramps etc.
now after marriage, I met another maternity doc, she just asked to me try for 2-3 months naturally and gave me folic acid, sildenafil, d3 tablets.
I think the 2 months so far were done in teaching him where the vagina is and then realizing he has an ed. Just recently I started taking it and putting it myself in the target (sorry, TMI). She also didnt say anythign about fibroid surgery.
I recently visited a fertility specialist and she ordered these tests. During the afc ultrasound report, the fibroid showed up (one is 4cm, one is 2.6 cm, both outside uterine walls) and she asked me to get surgery done.
So far nothing about the sperm count from her though.
No HSG ordered by either of the docs till now. Maybe I will get one done myself

Fibroids wont harm much until u have heavy cramps or bleeding or long days periods,
If you went to any abortion or missed pregnancy due to that als fibroids wil come..
Try to change your life style,if u are at a side of over weight try to control it and go for physical exercise, mostly fibroids some times wil go away with he change of life style,i got fibroids when i had missed abortion and doc suggested for surgery and asked i took a break from doc visits and for 2months i try my best to losse my extra weight and physically fit then after the next scan doc daid fibroids are not visible and no need of any surgery..
And may be your fertility doc was suggested because they want to push you towords IVF procedure so they are not taking your husband reports in to count, most of IVF centers wil ask you to go for laproscopy before starting any procedure ,
If the fibroids are inside the uterus and the size was increasing better to go with the surgery, but keep in mind it wil come back there wil be no guarantee that fibroids wil go away ..
They wil just blast them and go for surgery when you are planning for pregnancy so chances of conceiving may increase if you are trying naturally...
But before going to any fertility center just visit and experience and take time ,and if you are not satisfied with there procedure think back again..
Most of the centers wil push you and wil promise but when come to reality everything wil be different..
    All the best

Thank you for the reply. Yea, the first doctor said the same thing. I shifted to handpounded rice, regular yoga, pranayam, I was very active into 10K runs anyway, avoided packaged foods, etc. And was very much in the accepted weight limit. Never over weight. The doc asked me to get a scan every 6 months to check the size of the fibroid. LAst two scans, I never saw the 4cm fibroid, I thought it disappeared or reduced. Yesterday while checking AFC, the doc (same lady who did scans for me last 1 year) said the 4cm fibroid is there but was not visible earlier as it was outside. Now when she saw with the transvaginal scan, it was visible.
I frankly (silly me) thought for the last 2 scans that my exercise and diet change made the fibroid disappear. :(

Back to now, she still has not responded to my semen report that I sent to her earlier today. LIke you said, she seems to be pushing me towards IVF. Me being 42 years old is enough of a reason to go for IVF. I thought I will try atleast 1-2 cycles properly, but his sperm count is 200 , so I dont know what chances we even have and really demotivated to have sex.

The AFC seemed 3 and 6 on left & right ovaries, which is ok but she is keen that it is low.
So I really dont know what to do now. Sex is off the table for today atleast

It's grt that you are following healthy diet and lifestyle, but we can't predict the fibroids because onc the prob occurs we can't permanently delete them,if they are outside uterus nothing to worry much ,they some times causes internal bleeding in early pregnancy but no harm to baby, don't panic just am sharing my views..
If you are planning for pregnancy for every 2months you should check for fibroids, and as i know docs wil the check through vaginal onl to check the fibroids, every time..
Then onl they can see them,
Coming to you ovulation if you are not under any fertility medicine then those are good count both the sides, some times a healthy egg and a healthy single sperm do wonders by forming twins,
If you are not planning for IVF go with iui which wil come under normal conception...
Try 3cycles iui and if not think alternative, when you are thinking abut conceiving both may not enjoy the intimation time and it wil give anxiety on both of you, rather than that plan something like going out during ovulation time and plan ...
Cming to your DH it's too low for natural conception,in iui they wil take a healthy speram and injects it near to ur uterus wall so chances wil b more..
Just don't take too much time and plan..
    All the best..

just went to both the doctors.. the maternity doc to whom I consulted with both our reports before marriage and the fertility specialist Ive seen after marriage recently. Both say semen report is fine. Apparently, its just a concentration percentage and for 40+ year old,its normal. THe maternity doc gave the D3 DHEA tablets to him also.
She did an ultrasound scan for me and saw an egg. Gave me a Letrozole for 2.5 days (twice a day, pack of 5) and radiol for 5 days. Asked me have sex from day after tomorrow. She wasnt surprised with my 0.7 amh and 12.76 fsh. Said its normal for a 40+ year old woman. (she kept asking how else will a 40+ reports be anyway) She was sure that I can conceive naturally within 6 months.
Lets see. Need Baba's blessings in abundance
