Selected in famous cooking show for one episode - to say yes or no?

Hello all!

I am selected as a winner in cooking competition conducted by one very famous cooking show. They have called me today to ask whether I can come down and make that recipe which will be telecasted on air.

I am so much nervous. DH is all so happy and want me to go, but I am very very nervous. I am afraid of many things like, what if my recipe will be a failure?, what if I will look awkward, what if I will be a pain for them to handle?

Many things going on in my mind, plz God help me decide.

Say yes, dear! Absolutely go for it. everything else will fall into place. Please don't give up this opportunity because of your fear. What you are feeling is very normal, it is just a case of stage fear/nervousness. Just don't let these feelings come in your way.

Congrats imhappy:thumbsup. U will do well in the show.

If you are really nervous, your husband can help by taking a video of you cooking at home, while you explain and cook looking at it. This will help you to replay and see where you need improvement. Best wishes.

Congratulations OP. Just go and enjoy. I am sure everyone who goes to cook on these shows get nervous.It is natural to be so .Don't worry everything will go just fine.

Congrats imhappy..
Why do u want to miss the oppurtunity because of your nervousness? You will be nervous for the first time on stage not all times. Be confident and cook. Not everyone will get a chance like you. So don't miss this oppurtunity.
