    HI all..

    I'm new to Il and to AD..
    I'm very happy to hear the news of the Seetha Kalyanam at abu dhabi..
    My parents wedding is also on Nov 26th. I thought i will be missing them but i' very happy now and surely i will attend this with my husband..

    Also i'm a devote of Lord Shiva and Krishana..
    I used to belive a lot in Paradosham and to my suprise all the good things in my life happened on Pardosham day..

    My first job, my first increment, my higher grade, my marriage Mugurtham Saree Purchase and now after marriage my first birthday comes on Pardosham day..

    Its a great news to hear that in Abu dhabi Pardosham is conducted..

    Please tel me the dress code for this Kalyam and Pardosham festival..
    Also do send the address as i'm new to Abu dhabi..
    I'm coming there on Nov 6th.

    Awaiting to see all of you..

    Hi Jayashree,

    Welcome to IL and Abu dhabi. Nice to know about ur personal experiences associated with pradosham. Hope u have lots more happy occassions in future too.

    There is no specific dress code for seethakalyanam or pradosham. But i have seen ladies wearing silk saree or any other equivalent saree to follow tradition on this occasion( seetha kalyanam).

    Pradosham is celebrated here on the pradosham day at Foodlands restaurant hall at Airport road. Next pradosham is on 03.11.2010(Wednesday).

    Seethakalyanam is about to be celebrated on Nov 25th, 26th and 27th.
    The actual kalyanam is on 26th, friday. It is to be held at Sudanese social club, Alfalah street.

    So do join and we shall get the blessings of god.

    Actually i have already seen the invitation and also forwarded to my Hubby who is right now in AD.
    He is also interested in coming..

    For the coming Pradosham i'm in India but for the next Pardsham(19.11.10) i will be there.. its my Birthday too.. so definitely i'l attend the occasion..

    Yes. Prasodham is conducted today at Foodlands Building, in Airport road. It will go till 11.00Pm starting from the evening.

    You can go there and get the blessings of Lord Shiva :).
