Hi I recently became the proud owner of a grinding stone or attu kallu. The thing is when i tried to make a chutney in that after washing it and then using it. Stone dust is in the chutney. Can some experienced ladies let me know how to season it. Also how to season an ammi kallu. @Chitvish please help Chitralekha
Grind some rice and throw it away..do it a couple of times and kt will be fine..if it does not give a fine paste you have to have it chiselled by those guys who come around..
