Schools for higher secondary

Hi All,

We are going to relocate to Singapore by Dec 2015.
I have son 13 yrs old and daughter 4 yrs old.

Need to know which is the best school NPS or DPS for my son studying VIII grade.
confused on what to do as he is in higher secondary.

Please also suggest on good Primary school with less fees (as she is not covered by my husbands employer for education untill 6 yrs of age)

Hi Srividhya,

Welcome to SG
The local schools are cheaper than Indian schools. So consider contacting a local neighborhood school once you have finalized your location in SG. As for NPS or DPS, I dont know. Hopefully members with experience in these schools will be able to help you with this.

We were thinking other way -> get school admission and then take apartment for rent nearer to the school.
How is English spoken in Singapore Schools? British and US ascent are different.
But by seeing lot of animation movies my son has no problem in understanding them.
Is there a different ascent for English in Singapore?
Any way to pick it up?
