Re: Save for Kid's Education Plus, recently, DD's teacher sent us to this site www.beestar.org for free math programs. The math worksheet is FREE all year long for Grade 1-6 online. All real life word problems, challenging stuff to help kids thinking. We did kumon before. It's definitely more interesting problems than the worksheets for Kumon. DD loves it! We also save quite a few $$ because the monthly bill pressure from kumon is really heavy... Lisa

Re: kids plans We have opened a normal savings account for our son since he became 18 months. Every month we have set up an auto-debit into his account. The amount will be used for his education
Re: kids plans Pavithra, If the account is india, and the amount is decent, shift it to a rd/fd, with the interest rates looking up, you get a better return than when it is in the sb.
