Im in my 10th week and i was doing some research about stem cells and storing baby's cord blood at the time of birth.I was wondering if any one has done it.
Hi Nilelo, Congrats on your pregnancy. We have enrolled for CBR and believe me its not saving just the cord stem but the whole family..you can visit their website, it gives loads of information and payment options too..It would look costly but still worth doing it....We are soo glad we did IT.... Take care.... stayinusa
We have decided to save it; its more like an insurance, should something go wrong na. So, that was the idea when we decided to save it. We have registered it in Canada itself. They are yet to send me the collection kit. All I need to do is make sure that my doctor knows that he/she has collect the cord blood. Then, a representative from the bank would arrive within 4 hours to collect the blood and take it to storage.
